Personality: incredibly flippant, mouthing off to to the most powerful of demons, and he generally enjoys rubbing people the wrong way. can seem at times to be uncaring or even callous, but actually has a very strong sense of justice and prefers to fight fairly. He can be counted on to do the right thing, even if he is makes cynical quips about it the entire time. has a fondness for pizza, and while he complains about olives, he always puts them on his pizza. he is also shown to favor strawberry sundaes. He has a habit of getting roaring drunk;it is said he got so drunk one time that proposed to a mop.
all though he seems laid back shuyin is still calm and collected. shown to have a fondness for reading books. He is quiet and prefers swords over guns, since he considers firearms unworthy of a "true warrior".His quietness is not due to a lack of self confidence however; indeed, he never shows fear over anything

All though it seems heavy shuyin can weild it with easy like a light blade and it gives him the ability to control anyone with sadness grief madness or insanity in their heart. He's speed increased by 5 fold, able to drain his enemy spiret pressure if he gets close enough and allows him to negate a few kido spells.

the white blade on the left side is shyins while the dark blade on the right side is Zanetetsu's blade and the one in the middle is when they merge together

this is a blade that shuyin carries on his back when he is in bankai and merged with zanetetsu. the blade is used for purifying demonic or troubled souls allowing them to enter the spiret world and live in peace but the blade puts a huge strain on shuyins body when he uses it

a white angel wing comes out his left side of his bk and a dark side of shuyin appears made out of anger and sorrow and it has a black wing in his right side showing the good and bad side of shuyin. THe black shadow turns out to be shuyins zapakuto spiret manifesting its self so all can see. the two fight together in harmony to defeat the strongest opponent with ease. their speed strength and senses are all most unmatchible. only one known person can match this and its Aizen. Shuyins zanpakuto gets its strength from all the anger sorrow sadness and insanity in people hearts while shuyin drives from and the good emotions in peoples heart further increasing their power to achive ultimate power the two unite and this increases all shuyins traits making him almost unstoppible and they recieve their strength from all the good and bad emotions in peoples heart but none have seen his bankai.

History/Background:Shuyin was a famous Blitzball player in the highly advanced city of Zanarkand, and the lover of a popular songstress named Lenne, who was also very talented in the arts of Summoning.

Unfortunately, they lived during the time when Zanarkand was at war with the powerful city of Bevelle. Zanarkand ordered all summoners to the front lines, including Lenne, and Shuyin was drafted into the army to become a soldier. Eventually, Lenne was captured and held prisoner in Bevelle. Shuyin believed that the only way to save Lenne was to activate Vegnagun, an enormous robotic weapon of Bevelle that was imbued with magic and would attack people indiscriminately, not being able to tell friend from foe. Because of this, Vegnagun was stored away in a heavily guarded chamber with no intention of ever being used. Shuyin managed to penetrate deep into the heart of the complex, finally standing before the hulking, inanimate form of Vegnagun.

However, an alarm sounded, and Shuyin was captured and forced into a cage by Bevelle soldiers. He managed to escape the cage and once again came upon Vegnagun. By this time, he had realized that Vegnagun might be controlled by an organ-like musical instrument atop its head. Shuyin then climbed upon the head of Vegnagun and began playing the organ. As beautiful musical notes gushed forth, Vegnagun’s eyes lit up a pale blue, and it began to stir. The huge cannon that was capable of destroying all of Spira protruded from its mouth. At that moment, Lenne appeared, pleading for Shuyin to stop. And Shuyin did stop, so amazed and relieved to find Lenne standing before him. The titanic machine deactivated, and the echoing sound of boots could be heard rushing toward them. Shuyin and Lenne embraced and looked into each other’s eyes, knowing their end was near.

The soldiers of Bevelle arrived and as one, aimed their rifles at the couple. They then fired their weapons, and Shuyin and Lenne collapsed to the floor. A tear trickled from Lenne’s eye.

It was there the Shuyin entered the spirit world and wondered around forgetting his pass and not yet remembering. Shuyin wondered for yrs until he was found by Shigekuni Yamamoto-Genryusai and was taken back to the gotei. It was there that Yamanmoto took shuyin and started to train him to one day take over. Every waking moment shuyin was training fighting until he was at the point of day. He was kept deep underneath the division on floor so none could find him or sense him. Then once Yamamoto died Shuyin came out of hiding as the council saw the recomendation for for him to be the commander. They all disagreed but shuyin proved his worth by defeating three captains. The shuyin wasn't easy and left him in pretty bad shape but he was able to still summon his shikai and didn't use his bankai.

Roleplay Sample:
Shuyin walked into the commanders office looking around. Just having been appointed to the Gotei commander made him wonder why they picked him. He looked around the office and turned around walking outside. He had summoned all the captains and vice captians for a meeting to get to know them. Shuyin had to let them know that he was as strong as the last commander and he'd do everything to protect the gotei.

"well i'll them that and i'll piss them off just to see what they'll do."

he then walked to location with a strawberry sundae in his hand since he always loved to eat them while he worked. He then sat down waiting for them as he took a sthingyfull in his mouth. Shuyin was different from other shigami since he never carried his zanpakuto. he had such mastery of it that he could make it appear whenever he needed it and had great strength that it could vanish into the air and he could be seperated from it without dying.

"is this why they asked me to replace the old captain commader."

shuyin didn't know much about what happened other than some mystery man cam to the gotei controling everyones zanpakuto amd killed the commander. He couldn't help but wonder what was going on. but he knew that the other captains would know and since it was his first day he had to hurry and find out to think of a way to defeat this threat.

"so im the commander in troubled times huh... figures since i was secretly training with the last commander for three yrs and i even surpassed him."

He then closed his eyes and started to eat more ice cream and chuckled. He loved the taste of strawberry sundaes. He knew he had to stay true to himself in times like these or the situation would get tougher and more complex than it all ready is. he then looked around as he heard the captians approching.
